So, I guess I should describe a bit of the current state of my life, for those who don't already know me... 8^)

I am currently job hunting. My last assignment with my latest contract house ended last November. They've had a few things come by since then, but none of them has actually turned into a new job yet. Just went on an interview this past Thursday, though, which sounds promising.

I am the proud father of a beautiful baby girl. (here, in case you didn't see all the pictures on the front page... 8^) We had to take her in to the doctor's office earlier in the week. Nothing serious, as far as we knew, and it turns out it's really nothing at all. She's just turned 4 months old today, and has a checkup on Monday.

We just had a huge snowstorm during the night last night. Most of the people in our Friday-Night roleplaying game decided to stay home. I don't blame them... 8^) I probably would have "called in chicken" (as my mom puts it) also, but we host the game here at our house...

I have been knitting for a few years now. My wife got me into it a while ago, and I do it kind-of it fits and spurts. I have been knitting fairly frequently for the last few months, and am currently working on a baby blanket for my sister, who is expecting her third baby in April. We'll see if I finish it in time... 8^)

I was elbow-deep in D&D books yesterday. I recently joined a couple of online D&D games my brother is involved with, and was invited to join a third, so I'm working on a handful of character ideas for it. (The person running this game is using "character trees", so I need three separate characters...) I think I've got one ready, and have ideas for a couple more, but I have to flesh them out a bit.
