So, today was my first day at my new job, and the first time I've been working first time when my wife hasn't been. (As she just mentioned herself. 8^)

All-in-all, the day went well. The morning was mostly taken up by an orientation session, where they gave us general information about the company, gave us a grand tour, and so forth. The rest of the day was taken up with setting up my computer, getting an overview of the project I'll be working on, and so forth. Unfortunately, I'm not sure just how much I'll actually be able to get done until the tech support people respond to a couple of requests, as I don't have any decent HTML editor on that machine. I could try to write code in Notepad or the like, but I'd rather try pulling teeth with a rusty fork... 8^)

I also ended up having a pretty bad headache for most of the afternoon. Fortunately, it has mosty gone away by this point -- when I got home, I took some painkillers, and had a bottle of cola, which seemed to fix it. 8^)
