Ok, ok, I'm going to buckle, here, since I've been tagged on these, on Facebook, so many times, here they are, in no particular order.

Rules: Once you've been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits or goals about you. At the end, choose 25 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you. If I tagged you, it's because I want to know more about you.

1) Hang the rules! I'm not tagging people, let alone 25. If you see it, and want to do it, I'd love to see the list, but I'm not going to bug you about it.

2) I don't do chain letters/chain emails of any sort - I don't want to help bring down email servers (whether that was the intention of the originator, or not), and as a matter of faith, I defy good luck/bad luck promises/warnings.

3) I knit. A lot. I learned when I was eight and was very sporadic about it, until my now-sister-in-law planted the idea of making home/handmade socks in my head, a few years ago. I knit all the time, now.

4) I have a black belt in karate.

5) I have two bachelor's degrees - one in Electrical Engineering, and one in Japanese Studies (I know, unusual combination).

6) My husband and I have always wanted children, desperately. We have one beautiful little miracle girl - we went through 4 years of hoping and a miscarriage before we had her.

7) I love theatre, and spent a fair amount of time on the high school and college stages, but have done nothing with it since.

8) I love costumes.

9) I'm a gamer. If you are also a gamer, you know what that means. (: I suspect this is how I get my "acting fix".

10) I love music and singing. I still sing in my church choir, when my baby girl doesn't keep me up too late to get up for church.

11) I LOVE homemade socks - I live in them, all winter.

12) I really enjoy teaching. I've had stints as a tutor, substitute teacher, and community college instructor.

13) I have always been fascinated with languages. (Explains why I minored in French, when doing my first bachelor's degree, and explains the second degree as well).

14) I love to learn. If I had unlimited time and unlimited money, I'd probably be in school forever, getting degrees in practically everything.

15) I use a Dvorak keyboard layout, on my computer.

16) I hate politics.

17) I love to bake, when I have the time, and an appreciative "audience".

18) I'm finding that being a stay-at-home mom and housewife (both things I never thought I'd be) takes more out of me that just about any regular job I've ever had.

19) I started writing fantasy stories, a few years back, and have a full-length novel and a short story finished, and have another novel, and a "multi-book epic" in progress.

20) #19 is entirely my brother's fault. (:

21) I don't know that I could ever have my stuff published, via conventional routes because I am a control freak about my own writing.

22) I have enough interest in "psychobabble", as a friend of mine once called it (referring to his own interest) to know that I am an INTP, and to try to figure out what other people are.

23) I have A.D.D. and am mildly hyperactive.

24) I have a blog that, as far as I can tell, nobody reads, because I almost never get any comments.

25) I'm an apparently really weird blend of left- and right-brained, as people are often surprised at my technical reasons for doing artistic things, and that someone as generally logical and practical as me can still write a pretty moving romantic scene. (:
